This one is a great read.
I read this manga because I watched the anime with 12 episodes. The anime is not completed and I was not seeing any season 2. So, I continued with the manga.
The story is about helck and his brother. Helck’s brother was hailed a hero but while on a mission to destroy the demon race, the brother came back half dead. Helck decided to take part in the demon subjugation but then realized that the human king’s and councils are far more cunning and treacherous than the demon who he was sent out to defeat. The people easily turned their backs on him. His family, friends and comrade were all scorned and torutred by the very people he tried to protect.
Disppointed with the human race, Helck decided to join the contest for the next demon king. And with that begins his journey to save both races against the ‘will of the world’ which plotted against humanity for their unending greed.
He saved humanity but … it’s a happy ending but sad, he lost and won.
